  1. You know what i personally would think would make for a useful build tool? A tree brace that limits tree growth to a certain height, forcing them to grow at or below the brace. Would be very handy!

  2. 14:10 How about enemies as well? Now that could be cool. A few things got the new mechanic where they now have a new function if they get a wire signal, so a great way to introduce it would be to combine that with banners and trophies: activate a trophy – a boss spawns, activate a banner – any enemy that can drop that banner spawns.
    Also, about the mannequin, I don't remember, but can't you echo-coat them? Maybe that way only the mount will be visible, although you probably already tried that.

  3. You love particles?… Yeah, particles are pretty great. For like the last 4 years or so I have been playing around with a program called Effekseer. It is a great tool for making all kinds of particle effects for games.😅

  5. Y'know, I would say that the new mannequin functionality might be kind of a pain for modders, but it occurs to me that mannequins already sorta break in TModLoader.

  6. 6:05 Also you don’t need to stand exactly in front of a pylon anymore, the range is way higher now so as long as the pylon is on screen you can open the map and use it.

  7. Considering how much of the Solar eclipse is themed around classic monster movies, I'm going to take a guess that the film projector is, in some way, connected to it.

  8. To those who don't know how to make real altars but they really want them.
    1. Make a skyblock world (evil world selection would affect which altar will drop)
    2. Wait until night
    3. Spawn Eye of Cthulhu and defeat it, which would cause an altar to drop from him.

    And there you have it.

  9. When the critter placement was spoiled, I was in the replies section asking for a similar function for pets! I feel a little bad about having to pick one pet at a time and all the rest just go into storage…

  10. If they wanted to take the CRT filter further, activating the CRT Monolith a second time should add an additional fuzz filter that would be a little more intense and might obscure some small details or text but would technically be a more faithful emulation of an actual CRT screen.

  11. So many possibilities with those critters. It's like having extra pets. Angler can now have small worm and/or insect farm, Witch Doctor can have a pond with frogs; abandoned basemend or barn full of mice, a garden with butterflies and an actual anthill et cetera, et cetera..

  12. I'm still likely to build some sub-par houses for pylons unless I happen to have an idea and the materials, but the move in change is very nice.
    I do love what the pylons have done for my incentive to build all over the place btw., and the more convenient and earlier form of teleport is such a good reward.
    It's easily limited enough to still make you want to complement it with other forms of transportation too, and while your base is less populated if trying to max the system (or deserted if you don't want town music), I generally have started to prefer the feel of spreading them out in groups.

  13. You think Re-Logic would make a lightning trap? Similar to a geyser but would be placed on the underside of things. They could also make a lightning rod to draw lightning to as a decorative item.
