12:25 I actually always used to spawn the eater of worlds in the ocean for this exact reason. Plus it always has a consistent amount of segments that each have a chance to drop a map.

Loving the update so far, but theres one huge disappointment for me. I cant believe theres still special world seed generation option for both evils in the same world. I know the Drunk World seed has both, but it has tons of other changes that I dont want in a normal play through. I just want a simple option of both world evil biomes in the same and thats all.

would've saved some time rebuilding 😅 (unless they patched this in 1.4.5)
I nearly bombed my hard-built bases so many times so my mastery over the quick save/exit in the face of an accidental dynamite chuck is unrivaled
But isn't it a bit sad to completly skip the first two hardmode ore-types and the armor/weapons you can craft with it? It always feels like skipping a bit of content with things like this for me. But hey, cool that it's there for people that want to play this way 🙂

Honestly, Early Hardmode is tied for first place with Early Pre-Hardmode for enjoyment for me.
I didn't even think that shimmer transformations would have new NPC portraits, that's next level!
Pro tip: Beheaded Hammer can be make pre-hardmode boss with adamantite and hellfire ore, also, 2° pro tip: Palworld mount can be used with a bundle of balons to go over skeletron, WoF, all mech bosses, queen slime, plantera, Golem and Duke, (idk if EoL can be defeated, but probably), i recomend using it with a bundle of balons and a feather potion
i play on switch 2 and dont notice new lighting

Chillet was my favorite pal from the update. But my favorite thing is the snow biome. I already enjoy snow. But that skybox. Priceless. 🩷 It made me cry during the trailer.
For me, i've always played summoner and one of the things about summoner I love is they skip ore progression entirely. If you need ores, you fish. Thats me at least.
