Where do you guys put your mini shipping bins?


I have one inside the house for late night selling (so I don't fall asleep outside and get charged $1000 to wake up inside) but what's another strategic place?

    I use it as decorations, and technically I also use it to dispose of the other mini shipping bins that I didn’t know I already have, so you could say inside my mini shipping bin is another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains another mini shipping bin that contains a single parsnip

    Yeah i put one in my house too. Second one sometimes in my greenhouse (esp if i have a bunch of different fruit trees in there), sometimes near my kegs/jars.

    Put one in Clint’s blacksmithy to help with geode cracking. Another in the middle of town.

    i loveeee the mini bins i have one in each of my sheds, in my greenhouse, and in my storage room! they’re so helpful

    I have one in my coop for feathers and rabbit feet (such a weird thing to say out of context), then another in the shed I have to process the eggs, milk, truffles, and roe from everything else on the farm.

    And I recently bought a third to add into my slime hutch because I was lazy

    I put one on the beach and one outside Clint’s. I always buy a couple extra full-size bins from Robin, too.

    one or two at the quarry after I fill it with mushroom logs/trees/dehydrators

    one at the entrance to the skull cavern to dump extra stuff I had laying around

    I used to keep one outside the cave on ginger Island until I reached perfection. Sometimes, depending on how my farm is arranged, I’ll keep one strategically close to the greenhouse + animal farms.

    Stealing your in the house trick immediately. Can’t believe I never thought of that smh

    Near house. I moved it to the north island. Near sheds. Near barn and coop machines. I plan to place another two at south exit and inside house.

    And that idea to place one at Clint is brilliant!!

    I like that you can put stuff in them and retrieve them later if you change your mind. With the regular shipping bins you can only retrieve the latest thing you put in. I accidentally shipped 83 triple shot espressos this way because I confused them for milk jugs when I was quickly clicking.

    I put 1 wherever most of my machines outside are, one by the cellar, and one in the mines for gems.

    1 in the town, usually beside the bulletin board so it’s near Clint and the ocean.

    1 beside my shed that’s at the end of the farm.

    1 outside of the island’s volcano. (I try to put it next to the water reservoir with dwarf statue, you know the little area by the lava river and boy was it an expensive mistake)

    1 outside the skull cavern.

    I put mine near the barn and coop for easy mayonaise and cheese sell for early gold coins

    Since I tend to expand the dining room and use it as production facilities, I put one, then a second bin there. Right in line with the roe/mayo/cheese/cloth/oil production sets. And right at the top of the stairs from the underground casks.

    Keeps me from having to run out to the regular one, even though one of the first things I do is to place it at the very right of the front of the house, between stairs and mailbox, since that is exactly two spaces wide – and just outside the front door.

    Also gives me the chance to recoup what I put in there, before I let it be sold. Can’t easily do that with the main bin, so I use that one for bulk stuff, like cranberries, strawberries, etc.

    By my crab pots, in my storage shed(s), in each artisan processing shed, front of Clint’s, entrance to mines, in my house, & inside barns (only for items that cannot be processed into artisan goods, >!Iridium Gold Eggs!<, & >!Dino Eggs after Treasure Appraisal Guide!< )

    I put one in town and one at the entrance to the mines. This way I can sell stuff if my backpack gets too full while I’m out wandering around.

    I usually store all of my machines in a shed so i put one in my shed and one in the greenhouse

    I put mine next to my processing shed for animal products. Then another for my shed with wine. And a third I got when letting a friend join was put beside my fish ponds.
