Whip stacking may have added something a bit unique to the summoner class but that uniqueness was also the very thing holding it back for more potential growth

I still find it funny that Eternity mode (added by Fargo’s Soul Mod) removed whip stacking, and now that it’s gone from the base game, they’re READDING IT (nerfed, of course)

you get to gamble a few times until it lands on the one or two best prefixes or you run out of money and have to grind for more! you will never change anything about this process except looking up the best modifiers online! what an engaging gameplay mechanic! this was surely worth the loss of whipstacking, poor indie company relogic behind the 7th best selling game ever simply couldn’t find the resources to balance it.
