And yet for it’s counterpart, the snow biome, there is only one boss. A boss from a crossover.
I’m not complaining because we got so much, but I do wish this game was still updating so holes like this could be filled.

Desert and snow didn’t really have much of a presence in general, having no underground biomes. Jungle kept being the only option. And when snow and desert got expanded, Jungle got expansions too.

You youngsters and your underground snow and desert biomes. We had to deal with the jungle because it was either that or the corruption.

Even in calamity, which adds a boss for both the desert and the snow biomes also adds another 2 jungle bosses

It’s probably mostly because progression up to Duke fishron was made before a lot of biomes were fleshed out, meaning there was really only 4 underground biomes to put things in (corruption/crimson, jungle, snow, and hallow in hardmode). Where out of these 4 do you think a bee, a plant, and an ancient overgrown temple of lizard people who worship the sun fit best

Arguably, if they were ever going to do a 1.5, a double biome overhaul would be quite the contender.
