Terraria Added 5 New Boulders… They’re Pure Evil. Terraria 1.4.5 the Bigger and Boulder update is finally here! Which means its time to dive head first into some of the content on offer. Today we’re looking at 5 boulders added into world gen and craftable traps. Including the Lava Boulder, Rainbow boulder, spider boulder, poo boulder and Ghoulder. Hope you enjoy!

Yo! Who's manged to get one of the boulder pets?
There should definitely be a secret seed where there’s always a boulder perpetually chasing you or a seed where boulders can spawn on you randomly at any moment.
I went into this update blind and found out the hard way how this update got its name.
I'm playing a Drunk + No Traps world, and poo boulders spawn there
The boulder pet is for sure going to make me just accept death and die to a different boulder before I realize the first was my pet. I guarantee it.

I like this. Regular boulders are just a boring stone grey. These new boulders make dying a lot more colorful and decorative I think. I have nothing else interesting or unique to contribute to this topic at this given moment.

Technically… there is *6* boulders, its just Zenith Moon Lord exclusive
The rainbow boulder looks to be plenty useful vs the various invasions

I actually created some concepts for a "Boulder Update" way before 1.4.4 dropped. After discovering they'll add new Boulders in 1.4.4. is was immediately excited, because I am one of the only people who loves traps. After seeing the new Boulders, I can say they're quite annoying…
But all of your lives would've been HELL if my concepts got added in this update…

for anyone wanting a boulder pet, 1.1.2.9.xray vision|671629616 (remember to turn on drunk seed and celebrationmk10) go right on spawn and jump in the shimmer pool in the oasis, keep digging down and jumping in shimmer pools until you see a living mahogany tree, dig to it and jump in the shimmer pool right beside it, you should see a boulder, and that boulder will drop a friendly boulder, the rainbow boulder pet is obtained by shimmering the boulder pet
Guess who started their first 1.4.5 world on the no traps seed and encounters every boulder constantly during exploration
I encountered the Rainbow Boulder first, literally just on screen while I was exploring a living tree. The Ghoulder was second. I haven't encountered the other two hostile ones yet.
Does the rainbow boulder despawns when hitting any invasion mini boss? Because if the answer is no, I found myself some new farming partners.
Now we need brimstone so we can have: BRIMSTONE AND BOULDERS!!!
I’ve been playing a new master mode world for 15 hours, about to fight the WoF and I haven’t seen ANY of the new boulders (except from the pet)
You forgot to mention that it now rains boulders in Legendary Mode

I found a seed combo that makes the dungeon endless and it has special rooms and biomes in it.
Try: drunk world, dual dungeons, the constant and abandoned manors. You probably don’t need all those seeds and I think it’s just from drunk world and dual dungeons but I haven’t tried a world with just those
Wish the spider boulder spawned a black recluse instead. Brutal trap.

I think with the right setup you might be able to make a cobweb farm using spider boulders
