Minecraft’s render distance normally works in a shape that’s close to a cube, which means the cube’s corners load chunks that are inefficient and barely visible. I made a mod that turns this shape into a sphere to boost FPS. On my system it gives around a 10–15% FPS increase.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. If you find a bug or anything you don’t like, please let me know.
