As someone who has played all 3 games? Yeah.
Edit: I would argue that modded Stardew Valley is much more extreme than SoS. Automate alone has rewired my brain in ways I did not expect. Instead of making my life easier it has imparted upon me an obsessive need for optimizing every step of my production line for maximum earnings. My greed is endless and I regret nothing.
The valley taught me that I am nothing but a cog in the giant machine that is capitalism and to give myself in body and soul to it, and I am fully into that shit now.
Now I gotta keep mining so that I have a satisfying amount of material before heading (rushing) back home at 1:40 AM praying to Yoba
