I never entered their house for one save but I maxed out all their hearts. I then built their fancy house and was streaming for a friend so when I went to show it off I got hit with every single cut scene you get from being in their home all at once in no particular order, so I got the one about Pam >!finding stardew jesus!< and then got this cut scene immediately after. I also had the same reaction you did.
