My first spouse I chose was Haley! And no I wouldn’t choose her again. Ever since that first run and I actually met all the other people, It’s Sebastian or nobody for me. He does so much around the farm typically and for me plus I love my emo boys <3

I *love* him. >!The letters he sends you when he’s away are SO sweet. I love his corny romantic dialogue!< Genuinely the best husband (but I also havent romanced anyone else so take that how you will) 10/10 will marry again

Sam, no because i’m not a teenager anymore. Tbh the older bachelors kinda suck. For me Shane is always a no, I’m not the “I can fix him” type. Especially when he’s still an alcoholic. He’s also not my type physical looks wise.
Harvey and Elliott are quite handsome, but they are both quite sensitive. Elliott is a good romantic, but after a hard day of farm chores and fighting for my life in the mines its hard to appreciate him. He deserves someone better.
As for Harvey he’s a bit too *weak* for me. I like his mustache, but I like a man who is more determined and strong-willed.
I really wish I could romance Willy. I wouldn’t mind Rasmodius as long as the divorce baggage isn’t heavy in the arc, but the sailor has my heart for sure. Plus I wouldn’t feel so bad staying at Ginger Island all winter, and he could stay on the island farm with me and fish!
As for bachelorettes I feel a bit the same. Leah and Emily are always my go to. However I feel bad for taking Emily from Sandy, and Leah just feels a bit bland for how difficult she is to romance. Again, I think she deserves someone better. I would much prefer to romance Jodi or Caroline.
A lot of the bachelors/bachelorettes are fairly young coded. Obviously they are all 18+ minimum with some clearly listed as older, and some inferred as older. Like Maru having nursing credentials, Seb being able to work from home as well, Leah having lived on her own in Zuzu city prior to moving to the valley. But some like Alex, Sam, and Haley still seem to be teenagers.

My first spouse was Harvey back when the game first released. I tried to switch things up and tried marrying Sebastian on my current longterm save and deeply regretted it. I divorced Sebastian and now Harvey is a wonderful step father to our children. I continuously choose Harvey to this day.

My first was the frog prince (Sebastian).
I’ve made a different farmer to try out all the other bachelors. But it’s really hard to push through because I feel very guilty about using and losing them pixel people just for 10-heart completion. I didn’t like being married to Elliot, Harvey, Emily or Penny. I’m going for one last companion with this farmer and settle with Krobus.
So I made another farmer and set my sights on Sam, who is an absolutely adorable dweeb husband.
I still have to marry Hailey, Leah, Shane, Alex, Maru and Abigail. By what I know of them, I think I will adore Hailey (love her passion and character development) and Maru (gadgets and stargazing ❤️). The others not so much.
But I can’t divorce Sam or Sebastian, so I’ll just make a new farmer for the remaining bachelors I guess.
I would really love it if Krobus could move in regardless of the farmer being married or not.
And if there were regular game nights when you marry Sam, Abigail or Sebastian, with everyone else coming over to the farm.

Maru. She’s just like me, a nerd who loves space, does STEM, and loves sweets. She also unironically does the ☝️🤓 and I find it endearing. Not to mention she has her shit together, she has a job, a purpose, no emotional baggage, and just seems like such a kind spirit. I hope to find my real Maru someday
