This is a very underrated setting, but it requires a lot of attention. I constantly forget to check the traveling cart.

The problem is, if you haven’t started the greenhouse it doesn’t matter if you get it in the winter, because you’re screwed. Which just happened to me last night in my newest save.

Also, keep in mind it only really helps you with the standard packages, since it really only guarantees the red cabbage seed. It makes no promises for remixed bundles to my knowledge.

If you play efficiently enough to complete in year 1 you play efficiently enough to grind for it to drop in the skull cavern. Honestly I find it easier and more efficient than remembering to check the cart twice a week.
