My guess as to why it only works with these weapons and not things like True Excalibur is that their projectile attacks fire if you’re swinging the weapon and the delay from the last fire has passed, as opposed to firing a projectile every swing. That, combined with the delay between projectiles being affected by swing speed, is probably what causes this.

this was actually an intended addition. melee was falling behind meta-wise and needed a buff.
