This is my first time making a build of this scale and I'm really happy with it, but something feels off. I want to add more details to flesh it out but when I do it just feels too noisy. Does anyone have any advice?
The house looks great as is, imo. Just need some landscaping.

It looks great. You might change up some of the roof ’tiles’ so it’s not perfectly bluegreen. Experiment with or look up examples using stairs as roofing. You might raise the roof above the right side to remove the symmetry.
You can use upside-down stairs, trap doors, and fencing as really good interest around the perimeter of the structures. You can add a dirt block under each window, surrounded by 3 trapped doors, to make a little garden. Don’t forget about vines and leaf blocks as “bushes.” You can use wood and leaf blocks to design a larger, ‘old growth’ tree on the property.

I like the overall look to the house. The roof held up by mud brick walls looks off though. Like it’s too high and without support? I don’t know if you intend to build a deck or raise the terrain?
