Not sure if this is a popular theory but mine is that we are the witches grandchild and the wizard is confused about having a child in Pelican Town. The witch was together with him, tried to delete his memory and turned their child into a dove. Then had children with grandpa. Explains the 3 shrines and maybe why we need to go into her hut. As kin we maybe able to get in. Also why the wizard isn‘t sure about his child.

I bet it will be like the Skull cavern graffiti or that message on top of the volcano in Ginger Island. It can also be so ordinary it’s staring right in our faces.

Krobus. Kro-bus. Who would likely have a pet crow? Sebastian. Who drives the bus? Pam. Therefore I strongly believe Krobus is code from Sebastian’s computer that Pam drunkenly vomited potato juice on, giving him life.

In the interview he even said that it was something that gives you a message that’s a teaser for something that has been added already so I wonder if someone has found it and just thought nothing of it😂

i bet there is a secret room that has
“made only by eric barone” written in the image itself which would line up with it not being in the code itself
which would also line up with the secret not even being true anymore
