My bf joined one of his old Minecraft worlds and found this block and started freaking out saying that this literally cannot happen in Minecraft so I came here looking to see if anybody would have any answers.

That’s lava stuck in its lowest flowing state. If you place anything next to it, it’ll update and disappear. Keep it and build a shrine around it

The block isn’t updated so that’s why it’s stuck like that. It’s a cool thing to have maybe don’t remove it

Windows Key + Shift + S: Opens the Snipping Tool overlay to select a specific area (rectangular, freeform, window, or full screen). The shot is saved to the clipboard and can be edited.
Windows Key + PrtSc: Captures the entire screen and automatically saves it as a file in Pictures > Screenshots.
PrtSc (Print Screen): Captures the entire screen to the clipboard, allowing you to paste it (Ctrl + V) into documents or image editors.
Alt + PrtSc: Captures only the active window to the clipboard.
Windows Key + Alt + PrtSc: Uses the Xbox Game Bar to take a screenshot of the active window.
Fn + PrtSc: Used on laptops where the Print Screen key is shared with another function, acting as a standard PrtSc key.

  4. A slice of flowing lava glitches and dint fully despawn when the source was removed and the flowing stopped.

Placing or removing any blocks around it will cause it to update, its very fragile and technically rare/unusual although no real use for it other than being cool and interesting
