I don’t do this, because I harvest with the seed packet in hand, so that as I collect crops I plant seeds. Because harvesting crops pauses time, it means I’m planting without wasting anytime walking around twice

In OPs defense the scythe indiscriminately destroys everything else, so I can understand their hesitation to use it on crops where plants continuously produce or in mixed plots that don’t get uniformly harvested. I hesitated to use the scythe on my crops for a long time. And the description doesn’t clarify “this won’t destroy the unharvested plants” either
