I always do Corruption. Crimson never really felt like it’s as fleshed out I guess.

Crimson. Surface corruption only has those flying things which makes it boring.

Personally I enjoy the crimson a bit more. It was the fist evil biome I ever found and idk, I kinda like the layout of the underground crimson more than the corruption. That and the brain of Cthulhu is more fun to me. Still upsets me that we don’t have a mechanical brain boss we can alternate with the destroyer but I guess I’ll just cope

I think the only thing that really makes me care is the biome generation. I low-key think the corruption generation is stale and more of a nuisance than it is intriguing. Crimson is much more traversable and you basically just have to throw down some platforms and torches to be ready for the fight.

When starting glazed corruption, then I switched between them, now I love crimson. Ichor is better than cursed flames, more fun evil boss, better vibes. The only better thing about corruption is the purple sphere loot.

I’ve come to prefer Crimson if I’m running summoner. Everything else I still prefer Corruption though.
The Brain’s eyes are just easier to kill than the segments of the worm. Since the pre-hardmode summoner armor is either “kill Queen Bee” or “get tissue samples for Obsidian Armor” it’s no-contest.

So the destroyer is basicly the eater of worlds with lasers. If you play with the crimson biome, you atleast get to fight an original boss.
