Im working on Acadewolf's copper golem item sorter, but I've run into a problem where once the golem puts the item in one of the three sorter chests, they are not filtering down. When I put the item in the hopper directly under the sorter chest, they go down to the bottom row of chests perfectly. When I break the redstone torch, it also works but the filter items go down as well. Any help? I'm pretty new to redstone so the answer might be obvious.

It’s because you need your filter items to be either named or be a full stack. Right now, the copper golems are filling up the stacks you’ve already put in the chest and not sticking items in the first 3 slots
You sure you have the right number of filter items? Like any filter, this relies on adding one item (or 2 or 4, depending on how you’re pulling them down) increasing the signal strength. In this case from strength 3 to 4. Try adding one or more full stacks into the chest and see if it drains and if any are left over.
