Oh my gosh I just realized there’s a restaurant in my town called the Rusted Spoon.

Yeah the description says “a plain old spoon, probably 10 years old, not very interesting.” And Salad Fingers was about 10 years old when the game came out, so it’s 100% a reference to that video.
It’s definitely a more obscure reference though, it’s not mentioned on the wiki or anything.
