Really? I spent almost an enitre season! Just to get your quest done. And the first thing you do is try to scam people? You gave me 2500! I could have gotten alot more if I had just sold it to you normally.Another reason why Caroline should divorce him and marry me.

He probably sticks the “little organic stickers” on things like lightbulbs and floortile to upcharge those, too.

  2. Lowkey wished CA would do away with this type of thing. Making characters like him and Clint cartoonishly unlikeable is just asking for most players to avoid these characters entirely.

Considering the amount of fertiliser I use on my farm I’m really not sure that it counts as “organic”…

  4. Cozy games need some friction to feel cozy. The fact that certain characters are unpalatable helps make certain choices more reasonable. Like the occasional player choosing the Joja Mart path makes more sense when Pierre can be such a jerk. Helping Clint talk to Emily and ask her on a date becomes more of a choice when he does feel like a bit of an incel. It adds tension to the game by not making the player decisions feel so obvious.

  5. my son and I make it a point to give Pierre soggy newspaper, broken glasses, and the occasional corn because of this scene. he is the only character I have that is 0 heart, and only him and krobus(he just never goes into the sewer) are 0 heart for my son.

You could’ve made more than that if you were smart about this. The following vegetables turn a profit:

Hops, Wheat, Unmilled Rice, Carrot, Parsnip, Green Bean, Summer Squash, Corn, Eggplant, Garlic, Tomato.

Broccoli and Bok Choy result only in a minor loss.

It’s a straight profit, with Wheat taking *four days* to grow. It also gives you Hay for the winter. If you were doing something stupid, and got off worse as a result, that’s really on you.
