Personally I like Epoch the most for the VHS look. It’s highly configurable and simultaneously makes the game look like realistic VHS footage and those early 90s-2000s computer renders with really sharp and deep sun shadows.
MCVHS definitely nails the Vanilla look with added VHS filter. Personally I dial down the exposure and turn off film grain on both of them so the stars are the only thing you see at night and it’s such a vibe. Pure darkness makes the night and caves really formidable, and pairing that with dynamic lights or a flashlight mod makes a great duo.
