I unintentionally got my first legendary fish (yay!) and realized I have no idea what to do with it. Can you catch more than one legendary fish? Is it worth it to sell or should I keep it for something else?
I keep the legendary fish because you only get one. I have since started putting them into fish ponds. Or you can put them in a fish tank

I like to catch them all in iridium quality and put them in a fish tank, throwing them in a fish pond for the roe is a common strat ultimately there’s not much you can do with them so do as you wish.

Congrats! I personally keep mine in a fish tank, but I always throw the Legend into a pond for that sweet, sweet roe and aged roe that sells for $$$

Although I have heard Legendfish roe is actually pretty expensive, so I may pull Legend out for a few of my ponds soon.

You should pud it in a fish pond then make it into aged roe and place it in a preserve jar and make a steady income and you will gain a lot making it a steady income

I put the legendary fish in fish ponds, because you can also use golden animal crackers on them late game and get double roe. Then I put the roe in preserving jars for aged roe. That makes some serious cash!

They usually just chill in my chest of spare fish(for quests) cause I never get around to getting an aquarium for them. Perhaps I will do fish ponds next save though.
