I love Journey Mode. Being able to make the game harder or easier. Skip any sort of grind or not. Disable biome spread at will, which is my favourite because I hate evil biome spread.
Also so much easier to build stuff.

Bestiary is harder imo. Some enemies I have trouble spawning even at 10x enemy spawn in journey. Also needing to create a whole new evil biome.
Trash Compactor you just play the game as you normally would and ctrl+click *everything*.

Can I admit something? I play this game seriously for 3 or 4 months once a year the way people joke about playing Minecraft annually and I still have no idea what research is as a mechanic. I’m not asking anyone to take the time to explain it, I’m a wiki fanatic through and through so I’ll get to it eventually. But am I missing out on something game-changing? That’s my question.

was pritty easy for me. as someone who wanted to 100% jornny when it came out. so it auto poped when i got on my jornny mode charecter lol

As a journey mode player, I am confused, why doesn’t anyone like journey mode
If you want to play a difficult experience in journey mode, you can just turn the slider up
The only reason I can think of is because it trivializes the game via godmode? But then… Just don’t use godmode?
