Pictured is Tropics (RU), Tropics (BoP) and Ashen Woodland (RU) all generating next to a Mushroom Fields. Weirdly, this is actually how these biomes usually generate and have generated every time I've tested. As far as I can tell, I'm the only person to ever point this out, let alone complain about it. I know all 4 biomes pictured have the 'Rare' tag but so do The Fungal Fen (RU) and Snowblossom Garden (BoP) and they don't seem to have this issue.
Also, I've noticed modded Nether biomes tend to generate clumped together as well, you'll trek for hours through nothing but vanilla nether biomes only to suddenly find 4 different modded biomes right next to each other. Not the biggest deal in the world but it feels weird to be the only person saying something about it?
If anyone knows how to tell TerraBlender to not do any of these things, that would be helpful information.

if I recall, and I’m likely wrong or don’t have the complete pictures, biome placement works according to gradients of heat and moisture. these biomes likely have similar heat/moisture, and are thus more prone to generating close to eachother.
More speculative, I think there’s also a gradient for “weirdness”. this might just affect terrain itself, but maybe it might play into biome generation?
Mushroom island is frequently replaced with tropics. On ATM9 I had all shroom islands replaced with tropical & “legacy” biomes.
Also I find that spot really cool. Mind sharing all gen mods, seed & location?
