Terrarist is canon in Terraria 1.4.5. And so are these questionable things. (1.4.5.5 Experiments)

Terraria 1.4.5.5 just got released, and it allows you to see what the secret seeds actually do. That’s all great, but there’s a secret seed called “More Traps Please”, and not-so-secret seed named “No Traps”. What if you mix those? What about the new potions that they added? And most importantly, does Terraria snow melt, like a real snow?

    8:21 that's actually not to far from realistic. Packed snow makes a good insulator which is why it's used for igloos and such. Plus a messy flame like you were using would be sooty irl, and that'll block heat real good. And on top of it all you got that whole science stuff on energy needed to convert the snow to ice. It doesn't have cartoon logic, but people still act like fire instant melts any ice in an area instantly. Energy does not like behaving intuitively when it comes to things like this.

    neat physics fact, due to the laws of thermodynamics and how good of an insulator snow is, you'd have to spend a decently long time, far longer than youd expect blasting it with a flamethrower to melt a foot of it. since a terraria block equates to a square foot, its less that the snow is fake, and more that you didnt spend long enough. ironically the fake snow is far more flammable.

    doesnt change the fact that the flamethrower cant destroy blocks that are placed (and neither can lava)

    A No Traps and More Traps Please combo seems like such a good way to collect statues. I'll certainly be keeping that in mind for whenever TModLoader updates to 1.4.5, and I can re-complete the duplication menu with all the new items.
