All i want is CA to add a geode crusher to the hilltop farm, that way it acually benefits over the other farm types
My hope is that there will be an option to convert the main house into a hotel, so I don't have to build many cabins for a maximum of 20 people, and that there will be a garden large enough to accommodate them.
Honestly, I doubt any of these farms are gonna be added, since there's already some variation to them and the desert/jungle farms don't really fit the climate of Pelican Town. I think it's more likely that CA will add the tiny farm or another challenge farm. Also the Marshlands seem plausible, or like a flower oriented land, since flowers seem kinda neglected in stardew
That been coo lot have
Swamp farm hawing frog omg yess that been so cool and hear them every night so relaxing βΊοΈ
I think a volcano farm could be a really cool idea, and could act as a 'hard mode' for experienced players. There could be lava pools that potentially burn bordering fence posts and wooden paths, and maybe even crops too close to the lava could wither/burn. There could even be difficult enemies that spawn at night from the ginger island volcano caves. To balance it, crops planted could have fundamentally higher qualities because of the fertile soil, and players could even start off with high value ginger island crops, like pineapples, rather than parsnips. This mist effect could also be swapped with ash that temporarily increases crop values even further the next day!
I really like the idea of a swamp farm. Imagine if ALL of the tiles were always watered due to the soggy soil. No need for watering is a minor but notable early-game boost, as well as a minor economic boost for mid-game (due to not needing to buy sprinklers). Mechanically, all that would be needed would be a line of code stating that all tilled tiles on the farm map were to be treated like taro / rice planted w/n a couple tiles of water.
