nuh huh, that's not the right way you're supposed to spawn with your copper pickaxe Dig and kill some skeletons and get the bone pickaxe, then go fish for hours to get ores, then kill the boss of your world evil, mine some hellstone THEN after defeating the WoF you don't break any altars, instead you fish for hours to get a full Titanium/adamentite stuff. Belive me guys, it's more fun
Alternatively once you beat plantera wait for the truffle to move in, get shroomite and make a digging claw, it’s weaker in pickaxe power than the picksaw by 10 points but it’s significantly faster

If you throw any of the 4 endgame pickaxes you will get the True Copper Pickaxe wich is very op

Technically adamantite can be skipped cause you can just kill the mech bosses for the next pickaxe
I just use picaxe axe all the time, bc it might be slower then the endgame pickaxes, but it's an axe too

Make one that compares the speeds of different pickaxes as the game progresses.
