Picture 1 is 2x GUI scaling and picture 2 is 3x. Both are unplayable and this has been an issue since I got this monitor its a 27" 1440p monitor. In the screenshot picture 2 does look playable but irl its massive. Is there any way to fine tune scaling even with an addon mod?

Try using the GUI Scaler mod.
