Do you like The NPC portraits?


I feel like me and a small part of the community like the NPC portraits, though I want to hear from you all if you do or not, if you like a few, if you hate most?

What's on your mind about them!

Personally I adore them all, sure some aren't my favorites but I love all the portraits as one 🙂

    I like most of them.

    I do dislike a few but I still think they are a good addition! And even if people don’t like them then they are free to turn them off. Really good feature.

    i think they’re okay i guess but there’s already a ton of texture packs that do them way better

    I don’t like them at all. The style looks bad imo and it’s just an unnecessary thing.

    Arms Dealer needs to be rid of that yee yee ass haircut and maybe he’ll get some bitches on his dick or better yet maybe the Nurse will call his ass instead of fucking with that Demolitionist or Guide or whoever she fucking with.

    Yes. They look nice and are great addition to the game. And if somehow for some absurd reason someone doesn’t like them, they can be turned back to retro or disabled. Everyone wins.

    I don’t like that the Gunsmith’s looks like a swagless version of the shimmered version as opposed to the actual in-game gunsmith.

    Overall though I could take them or leave them.

    Love them! They add depth to their design and adds a layer of creativity to workshop users and modders

    I like the idea, now I wish they would add different portraits and reaction to the elements/events. Nurse giving happy face when close to Arms Dealer etc.

    I like all but the norm arms dealer and both of the fat bastards. Arms dealer just looks like a lesbian to me form some reason (nothing wrong with that but he’s not a girl) and fat bastards eyebrows are too big and not like Flint Lockwood dad

    Yeah, I think they’re great. I hate this image though, because the Angler’s portraits are swapped and it gets to me

    I think they’re cute, but I do agree that they don’t really fit with Terraria’s aesthetic. It’s clear the inspiration was Stardew Valley. Would have how for something that better fits a post-apocalyptic world being targeted by Cthulhu.

    i like them, theres a few i like a bit less (tavernkeep and old man) but overall they’re a really good addition

    why is the anglers shimmered form the wrong way round lol
