I made a sniffer farm, which was actually pretty fun to set up, and after a few hours of breeding, this monstrosity is what I’m left with. I hope that the amount of seeds they would dig would be exponential, but it seems that I’m getting just as many seeds with 20 or so sniffers as I was with 4. Is there too many, and if so, should I just get rid of them? Or are they just very slow?

I wish I knew lol. I still only have 1 sniffer and my word is 1300 days old
If they can’t push past one another to get to the digging spots, then they won’t be able to dig up the seed.
Sniffers can’t search the same block twice in a row, so in this pen you likely wont get many seeds as they can’t move around much.
give them wayyy more space to move around. more space = more seeds!
in my world i have around 30 with a collection system running under their pen and it works wonders 🙂↕️

Just increase the pen size, they lock a block where they sniff to get the seed, but it’s cramped and aren’t able to go to their locked blocks
