I need advice on how to improve the factory I’ve been working on as it looks a bit off to me but I can’t tell why

  1. It needs chimneys. All old factories have at least one massive chimney, even if it’s only there for decorative purposes

I think this is great. No critiques. It feels off because of its environment, not the structure. It needs to be surrounded with like buildings and some infrastructure. Roads, lamp posts, maybe a water wheel.

  3. Chimneys and maybe make the roof slightly steeper because they look like stairs a little bit.

Make cracks in the walls in certain places, I think there’s tutorials on it, also don’t be afraid to add regular granite in certain spots of crumble brick…add lamppost on the side, use iron or oxide copper bars and a lantern on top for the pathway, benches, and a dumpster

  5. Lacks detailing, use block gradients that go well with granite, andesite, base cobble, stuff like that, the walls appear flat, and maybe a giant chimney on one corner or something

  6. I don’t know how to go about it exactly, but make it dirty. It’s so sparkly clean, and factories generally aren’t.

I think some chimneys with campfires in them would be a nice addition. Also, the walls seem a little flat, so maybe you could swap out some of the bricks with a similar block like granite to give it more variety.
