It does what the others have stated. I just want to point out that, at least on PC, you cant hover over it and it will show you how many hearts you have with a villager.

Off topic but why are so many games basically letting you find shit out on your own that is literally just informative, doesnt really add to strategy etc. I’ve noticed a trend of devs basically just giving you a game and then you figure it ALL out on your own, including basic controls and basic functions or information…imo its not fun like discovering a new recipe or discovering new things you can do, its just bloody annoying and frustrating. Whatever happened to basic instructions? Think about it this way, if you came to reddit or google to find something out that isnt a puzzle, something you shouldn’t legitimately discover like basic controls or information, then it should be in a tutorial or instructions somewhere. Otherwise it’s just dumb because here you are looking it up.
