Having played the 1.4.5 update for a few weeks, here’s my list of things I’d love to see in the 1.5 update! None of these are planned, but maybe Relogic will take some inspiration from me!

  1. Secret seeds that enable monoliths. This is possible. Don't starve seed does this.

    A way to tell players secret seeds exist and how many exist. Because currently there isn't one ingame. Maybe make it so at the side of the special seed bar, there is a list with every item being a secret seed, they should be stated as "???" With a hint as to what they're phrase is when you hover over them. They'd change to they're actually seed name when you type it in and can then be toggled on and off.

    More crossovers similar to the three most recent major ones, they're done REALLY well, I want a shovel knight crossover that gives us a specter knight boss.

    One way walls, like from mario maker, but with logical options (A way to toggle what can go through and what can't.

    As someone who fights all bosses every run (that includes event bosses.) We could use more bosses.
    A desert boss.
    A boss between wall of flesh and mechs. Currently there are two.
    A boss to be fought between the mechs, (as in it can be accessed after at least one boss as been defeated.) We currently have one.
    A non event boss for after plantera, empress is more so post golem, like duke is.
    Red stated he'd like to add something from monster hunter as a boss. Would be sick.

  2. My wishes

    -space and dungeon pylons: space would have the same biome preferences as the forest, like how the aether and underworld share preferences with the underground. The dungeon pylon would be a rare drop from dungeon chests/crates, but wont require npcs, similar to the universal pylon

    -multiple pet slots: either out of the gate or through in game upgrades, at least two or three

    -more "combo pets": queen and king slimes master mode pets have a combo pet item, why not the destroyer and the eater/brain? Or the eye and the twins? Or the cultist and the moon lord? Or skeletron or prime? Or all three mech bosses having one? (with a secret mechdusa shimmered varient)

    -desert boss: much like everyone else lmfao

    -more pre-boss mage options (also ideally reverting the mana star cost back to 3 fallen stars)

    -more interesting ranger ammo options

    -more monoliths i guess lol

    -a way to target a specific enemy in order to make it spawn more/less often, a lot of enemies hace really cool banners but are a pain to get to spawn

    Edit to add: dreadnautilus is officially considered an event boss, with a corresponding trophy and master mode drops. STOP PRETENDING DREADDIE ISNT A BOSS RELOGIX, IN WHAT REALITY IS IT NOT CONSIDERED A BOSS WHEN THE FLYING DUTCHMAN WITH ITS 2 BY 4 WOODEN BOARD TIER AI IS?!?! THIS IS NAUTILIICIST
    (ps you wouldent even have to remove its banner, just make it like a 5% drop drom dreadnautilus or like a rare blood moon fishing drop or something)

  3. So the swamp biome would basically be a "do not enter" death trap lmao
    I'd love to see this be a thing, but I don't think ReLogic would keep it as dangerous as this concept. Everything giving poison or bleeding is a bit excessive.

  4. I think a block blender tool would be pretty useful
    force blocks to blend with other blocks that it normally wouldn’t, and vice versa

  5. Haven't watched the vid yet, but I already agree: WE NEED MORE MONOLITHS! Like, fr, how are we not having weather monoliths? daytime monoliths? more settings to control mob spawns, at least in Journey mode. I am building a custom map that relies on things like these. This stuff not being in the base game is super frustrating.

  6. 2:37 this is terraria, we don't need to put the hopper under the chest, I think it'd be cooler if there was a way of using the wires or add pipes for this purpose, just add diferent pumps and let it fade in the background

  7. My only wish would be to have a new Flail in the game with the original Flail mechanics, so it worked like they did pre-1.4. I used to make adventure maps, and in my opinion, Flails were the coolest items to solve puzzles with, since you could drag them around through the wall, so it could hit webs and buttons. A lot of older adventure maps are still unplayable because of the Flail rework in 1.4.

  8. I wish there were more early game summoner armors. Summoner relies on armor for its class resource (summons slots), so it needs its own armors moreso than any class. Also bee armor and obsidian armor are placed very weirdly in progression; I genuinely couldnt tell you which is meant to come first.

  9. One thing I've always wanted was for the flare gun to be used to make an early hardmode grenade launcher of sorts, since in real life, flare guns can be converted into firing grenades, plus it would make the flare gun something that isn't a complete disappointment to find in chests.

    I'm building a silent hill 2 map and I need fog despertly, been thinking about this AND a slight change to fog machin where you can control how much of an area it effects

  12. Why we making this video. We do not want anything else from Terraria, we want them to make a new game. They have so many great ideas and the current game limits their creativity due to it being 15 years old.
