So i'm building a medieval style castle and goddamn i'm already tired of mining deepslate, but you gotta do what you gotta do for the base. I just really need help with how to do lighting. I know lanterns are very good for this purpose but how do you use them effectively. I'm currently using glowstone behind my chests, which you can see my "treasury" in picture one, but what lighting block is good for making chandeliers. I will probably make 3 of those down the middle of my "treasury" here, and of course elsewhere in my build.
The second picture shows the most part of my build right now. The outline with spruce and dark oak planks is the keep of the castle. For myself just this part of the build is massive, as I have never build anything quite this large. Right now as seen in the picture, have I only made the first/ground floor of the build. Most part will definitely have 3 or 4 floors more, so my question is what rooms should i fill it all out with. Right now I know I will build a throne room, library, kitchen, guards quarters, audience chamber, war room, and of course some rooms for guest and the kings royal chambers. Any suggestions and such would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance 🙂
