I haven't played Terraria since I did a Journey Mode playthrough when 1.4 released. After recently seeing that 1.4.5 finally released, I decided to do a "final playthrough" of the game. I'm at a point in life where I find myself having less and less time to play games, so I wanted to properly play this game all the way through at least one last time. After 100 hours, here is what my world looks like.

I beat the game 40 hours in, about 10 hours earlier than I predicted. This was mainly because my luck with drops was very good during this playthrough, but it also seemed like my chances of having bosses naturally spawn and events naturally occur was also increased greatly. Despite being unpreparedly ambushed by bosses nearly 10 times, I was lucky enough with my drops where I easily defeated each one. There was also a 6-night stretch in which I got 5 blood moons and a solar eclipse.

/10 – My main base at spawn is a 1:1 copy of my 2017 main base from the pre-1.3 Xbox One version of Terraria on the surface, and a massive collection underground. I remember making the houses based on a Google image back in 2017, but I can't find the image anymore.

/10 – About 90 hours in, I decided to build the old cover art for Terraria east of my main base. I tried to get it as accurate as possible, but the cover art seemed to be photoshopped, because some of the blocks placements and sizes were inconsistent.

/10 – My underground base is simply a converted underground cabin where I can get quest fish.

/10 – My desert base used to be 2 boxes, but I upgraded it into a pyramid temple. The upper teleporter goes to the boss arena, the lower teleporter goes to the dungeon.

/10 – My winter base is a snow-covered house inspired by an image I saw, much like my main base. Unlike my main base, this one isn't 1:1. The teleporter goes to the crimson fishing spot.

/10 – For my jungle base, I spent a very long time building 2 living mahogany trees large enough for a base inside. It isn't convenient, but it's cool.

/10 – My beach base is another house inspired by a Google image, again not 1:1.

/10 – I didn't have a great hallow biome to build in, so I just turned a floating island into a base with a teleporter to a nearby floating lake.

/10 – For my mushroom kingdom, I took a screenshot of a mushroom tree and built it on a larger scale. I call it a living mushroom. This one is even less convenient than the jungle base.

/10 – As you can see, I like to use the drill containment unit.
