Just get a bow and arrows and you are more than prepared. Unfortunately the dragon fight is kind of ridiculously easy

Slow falling potions is vital for hardcore end dragon fights. (Or if you are good at water bucket clutches).
Just have good aim for shooting the end crystals and you’ll be fine. (And don’t look at the enderman).

I killed it once with only enchanted iron gear and good bow without dying once. You’ll be alright
