Hello, since I have switched to Linux Mint, movement in Minecraft (and only minecraft so far) has been broken in the weirdest way. I have tried multiple ways to fix the problem. Turning sprint into a toggle, disabling repeat keys, disabling IBUS, but nothing seems to be working. Please help. I am using Prism Launcher.

I dont see whats broken. Help me undestand.
I always had problems with input and performance as a whole when running the game on X11. It stopped when I hopped from i3 to sway, though.
You can try the experimental wayland session (you can change it in the user login screen) to see if the problem persists.
On prism launcher, try go to settings of your instance(version of mc), workarounds, Use system installation of GLFW
