  1. Pre-hm mage is difficult, yes. But once wof is defeated, mage is overpowered. The tome of infinite wisdom, razorblade typhoon, nebula glove (or however its called) are all very strong and most mage weapons have homing. Mage is only skill-based because its early game sucks cheeks, thats all.

And dont even get me started on calamity…

  2. The main thing about mana is if you ever look at the wiki of the mana you know what I mean mana is the most complicated mechanic in the game. You should always have one of your eye on the mana bar and decide what amount of mana you should leave in the container before stop attacking so you do get faster mana regen while also trying to do not under utilizeing it so you can maximize your damage. Well you can calculate the ideal amount before the fight which is stil annoyin you have to be sure you are using the set amount of mana for the entire battle.

  3. 1-Mage: it's the hardest because it's the worst clase right now
2-Summoner: with the lowest defense everything kill's you and you need to be close to the boss to use the whips, if you don't use them you're missing half of your damage
3- Ranger: you have to aim and manage you bullets but most of the bosses are really big so it's not that difficult also chlorophyte bullets.
    4- Melee: you know why

  4. Melee: arguably the easier, high defense tank builds or glass cannons are great nd there are a sick amount of melee weapons
Ranger: more difficult, mainly because you actually have to aim, but post chlorophyte its a joke, still fun.
Mage: just like ranger except lower defense and higher damage, also mage just gets overpowered in hardmode.
Summoner: harder, low defense and relies heavily on accesories, i love summoner but it doesnt work well in challenges

  5. I played every class in legendary mode (no not zenith seed) and I can say mage is the most fun and after you get the accessories is the 2nd easiest
The easiest was melee I could tank like every attack I got one shot at with every other class
Ranged was pretty hard but it was balanced since I could stay away alot
and then came summoner…….. I died to every attack 1 shot and I couldn't do any damage without my whip wich is almost true melee since the summons do way less damage without… It was so bad that the summons you make from the twins with 7 of them summoned (so 14) couldn't kill skeletron prime while having the whole night so in my opinion it's summoner

  6. Summons on their own deal less damage than sneezing on your target so you need to use whips which have less range than a lot of melee weapons and you have close to no defense

  7. "Don't have to aim"
    "Focus on dodging"
My guy, summoner either goes with warding or menacing, either live long until it dies or kill it before you do. So saying you don't need to aim is an understatement since whips exist
