This might be too niche but I'd love to see your take on a beach or making a painted lady style house in terraria. I've been trying to figure it out lately with the goal of making the outside a facade with a teleporter that takes you underground into an "interior." The details are hard to get but I feel like we have a lot more textures that kinda fit this style. Spike platforms for the underside of Victorian trim and easter wall for some more patterned looks have been fun for me!

Honestly not sure how long I've been watching your videos, but I always enjoy them and love the tips you provide. I'm very happy and thankful that you're back and uploading regularly again, but make sure to take care of yourself and take breaks if need be.
When I started, I was so confused about building techniques. This is a really useful guide for sure.
The problem with the prospector's set is, it does NOT allow the ultrabright helmet as it's helmet, and when you upgrade the combined helmet to the prospectors, it loses the night vision.
2 things I'd like to add onto this video:
1. For pre-hardmode, I find the snake charmer's flute works quite nicely as an alternative to the ice rod as you can also place blocks off the snake, and its useful for building as it can keep you floating in one spot as you hang off the snake, just wish it lasted longer
2. The calming potion I also find very useful for building, as it reduces enemy spawns by a very big amount. works especially well in combination with other items like invisibility potions, peace candles and sunflowers. If enemy spawns are that big a problem you could also make beehives to clog up the enemy limit with by keeping said bees in a box.

I've been on and off of Terraria since the first version released to console. My sister and I actually used to play split-screen on the WiiU, and my sister was always more of a builder. Every few years we find ourselves back in a new world, trying all of the things and just being filthy casuals, but every time we play, my sister always focuses more on building. I like to build too, and can be a bit hyper focused on it at times, but no matter how crazy I think my builds are, she one-ups me with little effort 😂 Anyway, I just wanted to say I have watched a few of your videos, and I really appreciate the content. For me, it's nostalgic, educational, and inspirational!
In mounts you forgot the Roller Skates for prehardmode, iirc relogic made them for building purposes

I'd love to see a full fishing set up with gear and locations like fishing docks, ponds, lakes, beaches, and bug farms for it.
I don't get why they made that change to the ruler item. Now, afaik, it's a useless item the Goblin sells.
Hell due to this change I'll bet some players won't even know about (or look for) the features on the side of the inventory.
The permanent tile reach augmentation toward all crafting stations by the Artisan Loaf is real nice, too. It may not help with the actual act of building, but it can help with selecting a build theme, and tile palette by showing lots of crafting options at once. It's like Ambrosia by being specific to the character you're using even if you bring them over to other world saves. You didn't really mention this other perma-buff consumable, probably because you don't always want high luck, but a way to get a 0.03 increase (wiki specified) is by tossing a Pink Pearl into Shimmer, and consuming the subsequent Galaxy Pearl. That item is very nice looking, so you may want it for display reasons, though survival players will only get the pearls from oyster shucking after a fishing spree in the desert oasis. As long as your fishing power is high enough, you won't even really have to think about whether you'll get any pink pearls–it's easy to get tons of oysters just aiming for desert crates to get that Ancient Chisel, or statues of Bast.
Hey khaios, i got a issue with teedit, It makes in my main character of the world see all the minima unlocked without shadows, and I would like to know if it can be fixed

Khaios, I’d love to see a video where you show a kind of “palette” of building options. I know it would be a lot of work, but I honestly don’t think anyone could explain all the walls, bricks, and color variations better than you. Especially now with the new update we’ve got so many more options, right?
I'm sure you probably get comments like this pretty often, but I'd personally like to see what you might do with some Modded blocks/furniture sets
I personally play modded more than vanilla and I am by no means a builder but sometimes want to try and build something cooler than a wooden box

building in terraria is all about texturing and adding details but mostly texturing
You should build like a herb garden / alchemy lab using the new hanging flasks, some ideas like a steampunk lab, overgrown jungle lab, mystical wizard lab, I dunno I just thought that was a cool idea and wasn't sure if youve done that recently so yeah!!

If you keep builder's pots, miner's pots, and golden delights in your void bag you can just quick buff with them.

Using Wire Cutter with Smart Cursor instead of just using Grand Design is a great tip actually.
Roller Skates can also be very useful, as the minimum movement speed matches your build speed. this lets you build platforms, blocks, walls etc in a straight line extremely easily
A small tip about the Guide to Peaceful Coexistence; If you're willing to give up an extra inventory slot, I personally prefer keeping the two component books as separate items, so I can toggle each effect individually. Whenever I'm doing any kind of landscaping, I often find myself dealing with a lot of bugs in my way, and sometimes I want to…. encourage them to leave…… without also destroying nearby grass and plants. I also like to keep a Flymeal in my void bag for NPCs that need similar relocation encouragement.
