If you put on all the passive damage accessories, bone helm, spore sac, volatile gelatin etc (stardust guardian counts) is it any good, like at all? I don't even know
The Mechanical Minecart has outdated information, as it is no longer the best minecart.
Ever since version 1.4.4, all minecarts have the same maximum speed, damage and acceleration (with exceptions for the Default Minecart, AKA : Wooden Minecart, and the Digging Molecart). And the new crafted item is the "Minecart Upgrade Kit", a permanent upgrade that adds the previously unique features of the Mechanical Minecart to all other minecarts (other than speed on the previously mentioned exceptions) while also giving the actual Mechanical Minecart to the player.
This was made to let players use whatever minecarts they prefer with the shortcoming of making the actual Mechanical Minecart relatively useless (I personally find its texture to be ugly as hell)
I've always hated the mech bosses each drop a piece of a minecart upgrade… kinda a waste tbh. I know they're mainly supposed to give you souls and hallowed stuff but I'm never exactly excited to fight them because they just don't have a loot pool. Mech cart should have been a master mode drop or something. Just lame.
The video is not correct you missed the fact that treasure bags itself are hardmode exclusive and dev sets too! Even if they are tier 2 wings and a vanity set why you could technically say with other wings there is no gameplay difference you still would be wrong because of the arkhalis

The three Mech Boss drops give you the Mechanical Cart, that shoots lasers, and allows you to boost any minecart with a toggle in the inventory now.
I don't understand calling them "expert exclusive" items. They're on master too.
