Her gifts are easy to obtain in the desert itself. However, you only have access to the desert, and to Sandy, after unlocking the bus. This makes her the most difficult character to approach for a relationship, especially at the beginning of the game.
That is, of course, if no changes have been made, such as making access to the desert easier, having Sandy visit the city a few times, etc.

I mean the bus is typically done fairly quickly and the easy access to loved gifts probably roughly balance out the wait

It’s kind of the same for Krobus, so I don’t think the access to the dessert is likely to change just because she becomes a marriage candidate.
It would be cool if she came to the valley to visit Emily more often.
and some insane person will open that bus before the first summer and have 500g to visit her daily with (i opened the bus just before summer once, never again, watering all those strawberries HURT😭)

The positive thing with Sandy is that her most loved gifts are the easiest to obtain (and often in gold quality), she is fast to befriend. But yeah I do hope there are changes to meet her sooner.
Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I’m not a fan of her portrait. I hope it gets some tweaks!
She’s just harder to meet but actually romancing her will be easy after you get the bus her loved gifts are just forageable flowers for the most part so when you go to the desert just bring her a wild flower or some milk since she likes that and her heart is yours. She’ll be difficult to romance early on but if you’re determined she isn’t too different from the others
Yes. You literally have to complete an entire set from the Community Center.
For me? Yes. The grind for the desert is so rough for me. I get so easily distracted with crops, making money, landscaping, giving people this, that, fishing, clearing my land, etc etc.

She would be the most expensive, but relatively easy to woo due to how cheap and easily obtained her loved gifts are so I would say that it balances out. Getting to the desert is not cheap and it may be hard for new players, but experienced players should be able to make the necessary $42,500 within the first couple of seasons. I don’t really bother with min maxing and I typically finish the Vault Bundle on Fall 1 after buying all the seeds I’ll need for the month.
