It spawns in the underground gog, where there's not enough space to move, and can petrify you from halfway across the screen. Haven't even defeated the Truffle Leviathan yet and I'm already tired of grinding for the Gogful Gazer.

Just face the other way when you think it’ll petrify, it’s basically a big Medusa. Once you have that down the fight is WAY easier.
And either way you have to respect its sprite work, it looks great.

this thing also somehow combos with goglyfish
jellyfish kinda suck by themselves already, why did they make a flying version of it for this biome

it’s a lot easier to fight with the staff of gog (sog) btw
and remember to always light up underground gog with gog torches so you can see them coming (other torches are half brightness in gog biome so i wouldn’t use those)

The gog heads in the glog tower are way worse

you would be mad if you fought the rare triple-headed-Gogatrice, idk how relogic thought that it was a fair enemy even for hardmode standards, but the loot is cool tho

Can’t you cheese it with shimmer though?? That’s how i farmed for my gwhip (best whip, change my mind. The goglings it spawns are just so op it needs a nerf)
