What happened to Framed!?

for a couple of years, this game consistently got 50-100 ccu, but for some reason, it randomly just died

of course, i can definitely see a couple reason, no updates, a skill gap between the new and the old, and little gameplay shakeup (even if the main gameplay is really fun)

but i honestly thought it would slowly fade out, but no, it just kept going for again, a couple of years then just dropped dead randomly
