If you die in game it’ll come off and then put a different pair on so they will be forced into you inventory instead of on. Id take off the other Armour to save durability too
Edit: i actually dont think you have to do the second pair thing now that I think about it

This reminds me of the time I put a curse of binding daimond chest plate that had unbreaking 3, mending, and protection 4.
Wasn’t the worst thing, but I was never able to use an elytra

Take off other armor, get a lot of food, and cactus it to death. If you’re not near a desert, fire is a decent substitute

Try taking damage from somewhere else (without dying bc i know you have 72 xp levels) and recover from it. Lrt zombies and skeletons hit you, but try not to get their xp

Take off everything but the armor and then jump into lava, off a cliff, into a cactus, or some other way of offing yourself and it will come right off as long as you don’t pick it back up afterwards.

just die to remove it or if your in hardcore drink turtle master and bring some gapples then jump in a pit with medium slimes
