In 1.4.5 they added a new accessory called the stress ball which makes it auto use tools or weapons including pickaxe. Meaning that you can also use this to make a hellevator AFK.

btw it cant mine obsidian since you are most likely using a nightmare or deathbringer pickaxe since the digtoise pickaxe is a bit less than yours
