Hey guys, i just finished my perimeter of the monument and no guardians are spawning. Im on Hard difficulty and literally the only mobs I have seen are drowns. any reason? I got a freecam ss for below and nothing has spawned there either

Do you see any entities on your f3 screen?
Do you have a mobswitch? Any overworld mobfarm that is chunkloaded?
The fact there are drowned spawning throws me a bit. I’m assuming there *were* (elder) guardians when you found the monument?
Trying switching to Peaceful mode, give it a minute, and then switch back to hard mode. Do a lap around the building to see if anything spawns.
From the Command line: “/gamerule doMobSpawning false” then change it to true “/gamerule doMobSpawning true” Do another lap around the building to see if anything spawns.
Visit another monument to confirm if it only happens at this specific monument or if spawns are affected at other monuments too. If there were not any mobs here when you first arrived (outside of peaceful mode), then this structure is probably blotched. Good if you want a base, bad if you want a farm.
