Ive noticed that the player, guide and Tax Collector seem to know each other before the game starts, because the Guide says that the Tortured Soul looks familiar, and thanks us for saving him.
The Tavernkeep slander cannot be tolerated. Not only is he from a collab with a cool and fun game, not only is he a chill and wholesome dude, he is also very useful being the main source of sentry-based gear which is very fitting and being the only way to access Old One's army and Betsy which have amazing drops. There is no way anyone believes he is a bad NPC.
