Newly released today. If messages contain profanity, Roblox automatically rephrases them slightly to remove the profanity rather than just replacing the whole message with tags. They probably said something along the lines of “wut tf just happened.” The idea is to make chatting a bit smoother by avoiding the tags which in the past would make you rewrite the entire message if it was flagged, and instead replacing it with a safe message which still conveys the same meaning and tone as the original.

Being unwillingly told that what you will say may or may not end up being processed by AI to be made more child friendly regardless of whether or not the sentence still makes sense is horrible to me.
I tried it out with “why tf are you so small?” and the rephrased message was “too small”. Sentence isn’t a question anymore, it barely even means anything with context too. I’d rather have to retype a whole tagged out sentence that ending up saying something that may end up being completely unrelated.

Yes it’s new and I hate it.
