The houses are too small. On ur inventory, look to the right. You will see a small house icon, click on it and then on the ‘?’ symbol, then you can click inside ur house to check its validity

you need to make a bathtub. you probably have the “smelly” debuff and NPCs are avoiding you because of it

I think the houses might be alittle small. Their is a way to check what a npc house needs in the npc tab to your right. House icon. [?]

Make npc rooms one blook higher should be enough to let then move in i think but just check with the ? In housing tab.

Each room is like 1 or 2 tiles too small horizontally
Try that! Its always my go to on new worlds. Low resource cost, fast to build, veeery optimal, as u can run trough everything. And u can close it if u get annoyed by flying enemies.
