As shown in the video, whenever I try to place down seeds, potatoes, or carrots, they don't get planted, except in 1 place where they do. I forgot to record it but when I try to trample the farmland to make it dirt it doesn't work. I still can't plant after breaking and rehoeing the dirt.

Light level is insufficient for the other blocks
it’s probably light level
Shedding some light on the problem may resolve it.
(Place a slab in the water to water log it and a torch on top of the slab)
Add more torches, low light. Come across this issue all the time in cave bases
Put some torches light the place bro you are not playing Outlast why you staying in the dark.
